I have decided to withdraw my name from the list of applicants running for president of the LCS Board.    I could list some of the reasons why – but see no benefit to add to the visceral comments and acrimony that abound online and offline.  And, if I won, as President, I realize that  I would need to trust, and have respect for, key board members in moving forward.  However, based on the  actions of several key board members during this campaign, I realize that will not be possible  – thus the decision to withdraw.

I hope the winning candidate can provide the leadership for the board to create and manage a going forward plan.  In my opinion,  Terry Vidal has the best chance of making positive change as he is the  candidate with the skills needed to lead the board to develop and manage a moving forward project plan. LCS2.0 was a great start in 2019 – it needs to be reworked and updated to match today’s and future LCS direction.  I believe Terry is the one that can and should do this.
