The Jalisco Cup 2025 finals crowned Cihuatlán as champion in the men’s division, with a 2-1 victory over Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos. It was the team’s second title in the history of the state tournament. In the women’s division, Arandas took first place with a 7-6 win in penalty kicks against Tomatlán.  

Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus, state and municipal officials, and thousands of fans attended the final, held Sept. 28 at the iconic Estadio Jalisco (Jalisco Stadium) in Guadalajara.  

From the early hours, excitement and cheering for the finalist teams filled the stadium, as players showcased their talent and level of play on the field.  

In its seventh edition, Copa Jalisco brought together 168 teams: 112 men’s teams divided into 12 regions, and 56 women’s teams spread across eight groups.  

The champion teams will receive a trip to Madrid, Spain, as well as rehabilitation of their sports facilities by the Jalisco state government. The runners-up will also benefit from the renewal of a sports space in their respective municipalities.
