FIFA announced on Sept. 10, 2025, that tickets for World Cup matches in Guadalajara are now available to fans through the first sales phase, the Visa Presale Draw.

Registration for this lottery is open until Sept. 19, and only Visa cardholders who create a FIFA ID can apply during this period. Winners will be notified and given assigned time slots to purchase tickets starting Oct. 1, while subsequent sales phases for general public access will be held in late October and after the final World Cup draw in December. FIFA noted that demand is extraordinarily high and encourages fans to register early on FIFA.com/tickets to maximize their opportunity to secure seats for matches at Estadio Akron in Guadalajara.

To create a FIFA identity with a Visa card, fans should first visit the official FIFA ticketing website FIFA.com/tickets and click the option to register for a FIFA ID account, then wait for an email confirmation. After creating your FIFA ID, log in to the ticketing portal, select the Visa Presale option, and follow the prompts. This setup enables access to the Visa presale lottery and provides priority purchase opportunities; all ticket applications and payments during this phase must use a Visa card.

Guadalajara will host four group stage games for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, all played at Estadio Akron, a modern venue with a capacity of approximately 49,800 located in Zapopan, on the western edge of the city. The scheduled group stage match dates at Estadio Akron are Thursday, June 11; Thursday, June 18 (expected to feature Mexico’s national team); Tuesday, June 23; and Friday, June 26, 2026. The complete list of competing teams and specific match pairings will be determined after the World Cup draw in Dec. 2025.

According to Soy Futbol and FIFA World Cup News,  Ticket prices for the 2026 FIFA World Cup games in Guadalajara are expected to range widely based on seating category, match stage, and demand. The lowest-priced general admission tickets for group-stage matches at Estadio Akron are confirmed to start at approximately $60 USD. In comparison, standard seats for other match types could reach up to $259 USD. Hospitality packages provide premium experiences, such as club or VIP lounges, and cost from about $1,900 USD to over $18,000 USD per person, depending on the level of service and exclusivity. FIFA is using dynamic pricing, meaning ticket costs may fluctuate with demand; prices for the final in the United States will go up to $6,730 USD. For the Guadalajara venue, fans can anticipate baseline ticket costs around $60–$259 USD for most games, with much higher prices for exclusive packages and high-profile matches
