The Chapala Women’s Soccer Team advanced undefeated to the semifinals of the Telmex–Telcel Cup after routing Tuxcueca 8–0 in a match played Sept. 28 at the municipal “Juan Rayo” field.

Jalisco team won first place in the Juvenil category at the Olimpiada Nacional CONADE charrería semifinal, held at Lienzo Santa María, Tlajomulco de Zúñiga, with 336 points.​

Additional Charro Event Results

Zacatecas won first place in its division at the same semifinal event with 327 points.​

IME (Instituto de los Mexicanos en el Exterior) placed second in the Juvenil category with 308 points.​

 Miguel Vejar, originally from Ajijic, shone at the Elite Submission League (ESL) Masters Cup 2025, a national jiu-jitsu tournament held on Saturday, Oct. 4, in Mexico City, winning gold and silver medals, respectively.
