As of today (Feb. 12, 2026), the top five nations at the Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics by total medals are:

  • Italy – 5 gold, 2 silver, 7 bronze, 14 total​
  • Norway – 7 gold, 2 silver, 4 bronze, 13 total
  • United States – 4 gold, 6 silver, 2 bronze, 12 total
  • Austria – 2 gold, 5 silver, 2 bronze, 9 total
  • Japan – 2 gold, 2 silver, 5 bronze, 9 total (ranked behind Austria on gold and silver)​

Mexico, with 5 athletes at the 2026 Winter Olypic has not won any medals as of press time. 

Mexico has five athletes competing at the 2026 Winter Olympics: Donovan Carrillo (figure skating), Sarah Schleper (alpine skiing), Allan Corona (cross-country), Regina Martínez (cross-country), and a second male alpine skier (Lasse Gaxiola) filling the fifth quota place.
