Chapala lost to Zapotiltic, 2-1, in the first leg of the round of 16 (August 9); the match was played with high community attendance.
Jocotepec
Jocotepec was eliminated by Magdalena in the round of 32. An opposing goal late in the home game gave Magdalena the win, ending Jocotepec’s run in the Cup as of mid-August.
Jalisco Cup (Copa Jalisco) Status
The Copa Jalisco moved into the round of 16 (Liguilla) in August, with both men’s and women’s divisions in competition.
