Consejo Estatal para el Fomento Deportivo Jalisco (CODE Jalisco) launched its 2026 spring training camp, aiming to win its 25th consecutive championship at the Comisión Nacional de Cultura Física y Deporte (CONADE ) National Olympics. More than 2,100 athletes will sharpen their skills this April with rigorous sessions, including double daily workouts under strict discipline.

To optimize performance, trainers moved beyond the Guadalajara Metropolitan Area for superior conditions. Chapala emerged as a pivotal hub, providing specialized facilities and housing for sailing athletes.

Training spans two periods: March 30-April 5 and April 6-12.

State venues accommodated the athletes:

  • Metropolitan area: Alcalde, CODE II, Metropolitano, Revolución, López Mateos, Paradero, and Ávila Camacho sports complexes; Luis Quintanar Track and Field Stadium.
  • Outlying areas: Chapala for sailing; Ciudad Guzmán for rowing and canoeing.

The camp offers comprehensive training across a wide range of disciplines, including track and field, boxing, weightlifting, cycling, badminton, karate, rhythmic gymnastics, fronton, modern pentathlon, handball, volleyball, soccer, diving, swimming, and basketball.

Athletes from interior municipalities enjoyed free lodging and meals at the Casa del Atleta on the CODE Alcalde grounds.
