Chapala Men’s Soccer Team exited the Jalisco Cup 2026 playoffs after a determined 2–1 win over Tonalá Soccer Team proved insufficient to advance.
The match took place on April 12 at noon in Tonalá. Chapala needed a stronger goal difference to advance from Group 11 to the playoffs, but did not close the gap in the standings and was eliminated.
Poncitlán Soccer Team finished second in the group and claimed the final playoff spot. Chapala placed third and was eliminated.
Chapala ended its campaign with earlier wins over Mazamitla, 1–0, and Tala in a penalty shootout after a 3–3 draw.
