The Charales de Chapala were eliminated from the final phase of the TDP League after losing 4-2 to Saltillo Soccer FC in the return match of the semifinals of Zone B. This win secured Saltillo’s passage to the next round with a total score of 6 goals to 3.
The final match was held this Saturday, May 16, on the court at the Olympic Stadium in Saltillo, where hopes for the lakeside team’s promotion were buried.
Despite the painful defeat, the Charales had a historic season. This campaign marked the first time in their 25 years that they reached the semifinals of the TDP League.
