Ixtlahuacán de los Membrillos secured a spot in the semifinals after defeating San Martín de Hidalgo in a hard-fought quarterfinal series. The team won 5-3 on aggregate, keeping its hopes alive for the title at Jalisco Stadium in Guadalajara.

The team will try to reach the final this weekend in a two-leg series against Tlajomulco de Zúñiga. According to the official schedule, the second leg will take place in Tlajomulco.

Tlajomulco will host the match on May 10 at 12 p.m. at Mariano Otero Sports Complex. 

Ixtlahuacán reached the quarterfinals after a decisive win over Jocotepec. That victory helped build the momentum that now carries the team into the semifinals.

The 2026 Jalisco Cup has stood out for its strong competition among municipalities in the central region. The winner of this matchup will advance to the final, scheduled for May 31.
